Terms & Conditions

What we publish, what it isn't, and the rules for using it.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These Terms govern your use of American Market Insiders ("AMI," "we," "us"), our websites, and our email newsletter (together, the "Service"). By visiting our pages or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The most important term on this page

We are not your financial adviser, and nothing we publish is investment advice. AMI is a news and commentary publication produced for educational and entertainment purposes. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and we are not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any state securities regulator. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security, and nothing is tailored to your circumstances. Any investment decision you make is yours alone.

1. What the Service is

We read public financial disclosures — including congressional trading reports filed under the STOCK Act, SEC Forms 3, 4, and 5, and quarterly Form 13F filings — and write about what we find. Our work is journalism and commentary built on documents that are already public.

2. No advisory relationship

Subscribing to the newsletter, reading our pages, or corresponding with us does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or professional relationship of any kind. We do not know your financial situation, risk tolerance, tax position, time horizon, or objectives, and we make no attempt to account for them. Before acting on anything you read here, consider consulting a licensed financial professional, accountant, or attorney.

3. About the underlying filings

Public filings are the raw material for most of what we publish. You should understand their limits:

We make a good-faith effort to describe filings accurately and to link to the original source document so you can check our work. We encourage you to do exactly that.

4. No guarantee of results

Past performance does not indicate future results. All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. We do not represent or guarantee that any information in the Service will lead to profit, avoid loss, or prove accurate or complete. Nothing we publish should be read as a prediction of the price or performance of any security.

5. Our positions and conflicts

We do not accept compensation from any company, fund, or individual in exchange for coverage. Our newsletter is supported by sponsorships, which are identified as paid placement wherever they appear. Sponsorship does not buy editorial coverage and does not influence what we choose to report.

6. Accuracy and corrections

We try to get it right. When we get something wrong, we correct it. If you believe we have published an error, email [email protected] and tell us what you think is wrong and why — ideally with a link to the filing.

7. Acceptable use

You may read, forward, and quote our work with attribution and a link. You may not:

8. Intellectual property

The text, design, charts, and branding of the Service are owned by AMI or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The underlying government filings we cite are public records and are not our property. Our analysis, selection, arrangement, and commentary are.

9. Email consent

By submitting your email address, you consent to receive the newsletter and related editorial email from us. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party links

We link to government filing portals, news sources, and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMI AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMI and its operators from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or remove any subscriber from our list, at any time and for any reason, including suspected abuse or fraudulent signup. You may end your side of this relationship at any time by unsubscribing.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AMI regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
